I don't really use the Best Shots, but the camera pretty much does all the work for me. I have yet to mess around with some of the more advanced manual and auto settings, but I can see already this camera is a great deal for the price. Picture quality and ease of use are outstanding! (continue)
This is the best, easiest to use, fully featured camera I have ever owned. Super value. I would recommend to anyone. (continue)
I have owned 4 of these Exilim cameras. The first 2 were great with the exception that sometimes the lens froze up. Easily remedied however just by powering back on and then off. They take pretty excellent pictures, (continue)
At first I was a little doubtful about purchasing this camera, being that I was purchasing it as a gift for someone that does not know about cameras at all. When I received it and tested it out, I was amazed on how easy it was to work with it. (continue)
Casio Exilim EX-Z29 is so light you can put it your shirt pocket
The Casio Exilim EX-Z29 is possibly the simplest point and shoot digital camera around. It is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket and barely weighs over a pound, but packs all the usual features users would need to take excellent snapshots.
Casio Exilim EX-Z29 10.1 MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Purple)
It has the basic face detection technology that automatically focuses and brightens the subject even in backlit scenes; the option to change the settings to the best one depending on the situation; and of course, anti-shake so there would be less of a chance for pictures to appear blurry.

Its 10.1 megapixel resolution and 3x optical zoom ensure that its images are of high quality―always crisp and clear. Besides that, the Casio Exilim EX-Z29 also has an additional feature for people who enjoy taking videos and uploading them on the popular video sharing website; YouTube.com. It saves videos in the optimal size for uploading to YouTube™ and has included software for uploading it quicker to the site.
The Casio Exilim EX-Z29 finds its best selling power in its convenience. It fits nicely in the hand, and for such a tiny camera, is very sturdy. There have been accounts of it getting wet, submerged, left outside, or just outrightly dropped―and it has still worked after. Considerable care has been taken after these had happened; nonetheless, it survives wear and tear. It also looks nice, and comes in different colors that most people find very pleasing. It can have an external memory up to 8GB which could hold over thousands of images, and it has a rechargeable battery that has a long life.
A lot of users who have professional and more expensive digital cameras/SLRs opt to purchase the Casio Exilim EX-Z29 as a casual camera to bring around. It still takes good photos, and is easier to lug around without fear of damage or loss because of theft. At the same time, it is very easy to use. It can be used by the younger and older age group alike.
Technologically challenged people like the Casio Exilim EX-Z29 for its simplicity and that fact it does not burn the pockets either, unlike the usual digital cameras out in the market.

There does not seem to be a lot of complaints about the Casio Exilim EX-Z29. The only feedback would be that it does not have more fancy features like the other more expensive digital cameras. This alone explains it though. The Casio Exilim EX-Z29 is incredibly cheap, taking into account that it has a 10.1 megapixel resolution and a few other features that would normally make any camera more expensive.
In conclusion, it serves its purpose as a basic digital camera, and is in its own right, a really good and handy companion for capturing important memories and the like.
